PASELLY Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") shall, in accordance with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy"), exercise the utmost care in managing and handling personal information collected from users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") who use PASELLY (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by the Company.
Personal information refers to information that can identify an individual, such as name, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, and email address. Information that cannot identify an individual on its own but can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify an individual is also considered personal information.
Under this Policy, the personal information collected by the Company refers to information entered by Users on the Company's website (hereinafter referred to as "the Site") and other information provided in connection with the Service.
Information voluntarily provided by Users during or outside the provision of the Service through personal contact with Company staff shall not be considered information collected by the Company. Please refer to Section 9.
On the Company's web server, information such as IP addresses is recorded regarding Users' access history, and the Company uses this information for monitoring abnormal access and improving services. Such information will not be disclosed to third parties without the prior consent of the User. Additionally, the Site uses a technology called Cookies for the purpose of managing login status, but no personally identifiable data is included.
The Company shall use the personal information obtained for the following purposes:
(1) To provide the Service and send information about the Service
(2) To distribute information related to the Service (newsletters, campaign information, surveys, etc.)
(3) To distribute information about other services provided by the Company
(4) To accurately understand opinions and inquiries about the Service and to respond to them
(5) For analysis of customer trends, service development, and other research and analysis
(6) To verify the identity of Users when responding to requests for disclosure of personal information
(7) To contact and respond to emergencies such as disasters
(8) To settle usage fees for the Service and collect late payment charges
If the Company finds it unavoidable to use personal information for purposes other than those described in this Policy, the Company shall seek the prior consent of the User.
The Company deeply recognizes the importance of handling personal information and has established this Policy based on the Company's information security policy to guarantee Users' rights regarding personal information. The Company shall implement the following:
(1) Comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations.
(2) Implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to prevent risks such as leakage, loss, damage, or alteration of personal information.
(3) Establish a dedicated contact point to promptly and sincerely respond to and resolve inquiries regarding the handling of personal information.
(4) Regularly review and continuously improve the Company's information security system to ensure appropriate handling of personal information.
The Company shall not entrust, provide, or share personal information with third parties without the prior consent of Users, except in the following cases:
(1) Where restrictions under Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information apply
(2) Where necessary measures, including legal action, need to be taken against violations of the Terms of Service by Users
(3) Where disclosure is made to corporations and individuals with whom the Company entrusts business or enters into business partnerships in order to provide services desired by Users
(4) Where the User has given consent
Users shall be responsible for ensuring that personal information is accurate and up-to-date at the time it is provided.
The Company shall not modify Users' personal information without permission.
If a User requests to discontinue use of the Service, the Company shall cease using the personal information of that User thereafter.
If a User wishes to have their personal information deleted, please contact the Company following the Company's prescribed procedures.
When a User requests disclosure of their own personal information, the Company shall respond without delay. However, in the following cases, some or all of the information may not be disclosed:
(1) Where there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the User or a third party
(2) Where there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper conduct of the Company's business
(3) Where it would violate other laws and regulations
As stipulated in Section 2 (Collection of Personal Information) of this Policy, information personally provided by Users to Company staff is not personal information collected by the Company and therefore does not fall under the personal information protected and managed under this Policy.
Accordingly, the Company shall not be liable for any leakage or disclosure of such information.
Except as otherwise required by law, the Company may change this Policy as appropriate by posting the changes on the Site, without the prior consent of Users.
